OMG I FOUND IT!!!! I WENT BACK AND ACTUALLY FOUND IT!!!!!



I went back to Goodwill yesterday, just as a quick stop form work and I though, "Okay, Holly. Just look. A twenty minute jaunt through the sheets and curtains and then put it out of your mind."

And BOOM! Right on the end of the rack. The sari I had put back and mourned over.



Buhahahahahahahahaha!

Now I have four. :)

I'm actually going to cut this one first, because its not too dear and also more opaque than the others.

You know her dress is pink? It really is.

Anyway, I have no clue what to do with it but I couldn't pass it up, not at half price.

Okay. So. I know there's been some issue with Ariels pink dress. A lot of very influential bloggers have stated they dislike it. Red hair, it is commonly known, does not make good bed partners with the color pink. Regency

When I first began sewing I got this idea. See, I have a surplus of fabric, a ridiculous amount of patterns and quite a stash of thread. However, I am one of the people who has a hard time sewing something if it doesn't have a purpose. So I thought, hey, Im gonna make costumes for myself and my family and do family portraits in them! Last year I actually made the costumes, civil war era in the theme of Abraham Lincoln's anniversary thing. However, never managed to get family pictures done in them, bummer. But Still! I sewed them. This year im thinking... REGENCY Right? Right? Anyway, Here are the ingredients: Burda 2747 My sisters not too info the whole Princess Twirl-a-long that I am, I mean, Im almost thirty and ID dress like Disney at the drop of a hat. So, instead of the drama of forcing her to wear a dress, I offered another option. She could cross dress as a gentleman. Spring/Summer Wardrobe, Shorts Plan

                    I am attempting to combine my love of easy wear stuff, with my love of vintage. Also, I need to start dressing to make myself happy, not just grab whatever is clean and feel like blarg. In effort to complete this task, I am making shorts! There are two kinds of shorts that I am interested in. High waisted shorts.  -and Flared Shorts: Now, I do feel these are a bit, uh short. Ironically. Which is why I wont be buying from Unique Vintage for my short needs. Ill being sewing them.  (Note, I bought ALL my capris from Unique Vintage, I love them. Review to come) Ive got a couple patterns that Im looking at. The definite ones are Simplicity 3688, and Butterick 5895.   Other ideas are as follows::  As for fabrics, this will be a stashbuster.
